Alan retired in 2008. A Town Planner in the 1970's and early 1980's he then joined Wimpey and Persimmon, initially as a land buyer but ultimately as Managing Director of Persimmon Anglia. He therefore has experience of development from both the public and private sector perspectives. 

Ed spent his whole working life in construction as a quantity surveyor and then as a cost consultant and project manager. He became a professional member of the RICS in 1968 and a Fellow in 1981. He is also a Trustee of the Arthur Rank Hospice. 

Stephen is a Community First Responder/Ambulance Care Assistant and before retiring was Lead Director for the Bank of Scotland Corporate Real Estate Team based in Cambridge. He has also previously held a non-executive director position with a property company in Cambridge. 

Sara was Business Development Director at The Hill Group for over 6 years and was chair of a local property development company and a board member of Aldwyck Housing Group. She now manages a portfolio of Cambridge private, third sector and charity projects. Involved in education tech start up, EliT, she is also founding chair of Cambridge Live. A lawyer, Sara worked regionally and internationally in manufacturing and brings Executive and non-Executive experience in housing. 

Simon has over 30 years international experience in life sciences as a CEO of both public and private sector companies. During this time Simon has held senior management and board positions in companies in the UK, the United States and Malaysia. Most recently Simon was a Non-Executive Director of a Cambridge house building company, and is currently Chief Executive of Stratophase Ltd, a biotech company based in Southampton. 

Julian is a retired solicitor and senior partner of Miller Sands in Cambridge, specialising in residential and commercial property. He spent 18 years as a board member and for much of it vice-chairman of a Housing Society and was a founding board member of a house building business for 6 years. He holds a non-executive directorship of one company and is employed as business development manager of another, is a trustee of a national charity and is presently writing three books.
